You cannot go wrong in giving this one a try. This is one game that has so many different playing options that it is never the same game twice. By the time they arrived home, I had rehoned my skills at the game and was ready to go to WAR! I put in Worms and played for hours while they were at schools. While recouperating from knee surgery last year, my sons' set up the playstation to keep me entertained. Whether you give your son a karate chop or drop a holy hand grenade on your hubby, you can kill each other without wrecking the house! There is a time limit on your turn, but you can adjust that also. Since it is a strategy game, you do not have to be super fast on the controller. Watching your opponets worms fly off the screen using all forms of weapons leads to hours of hilarity. We love to sit down as a family and pass the controller around. You can even put them in their own setting if you choose. You can use the preset teams and weapons or create your own. This is a hilarious stratagy based game that the whole family can enjoy. Worms Armageddon or How To Kill Your Family For Fun! Worms: Armageddon supports the Dual Shock Analog Controller and requires two blocks of memory. You can also play in campaigns, matches or the all new training missions. Choosing a method of strategy is important in order to gain success, and a different strategy can be used each time. Others tend to go for the "strategic" method, utilizing options such as the Teleport, the Ninja Rope, the parachute, or the Pneumatic Drill. You can choose to either kill everyone and everything with weapons such as Cluster Bombs, homing missiles, sheep, skunks, or the ever popular Bazooka. There are different strategies for playing Worms: Armageddon. There are over 40 single-player missions, ten of which are unique to the PlayStation. All stages include different landscapes with different places for your worms to hide and take up strategic positions from. You can create your own battle or play on a randomly created stage. In this game, you choose from either a single- or multiplayer game where you position your worm, select one of 60 weapons, and fire on your enemy.
That doesnt mean its outright bad for what it is, in fact this concept was even more dumbed down for angry birds, so its a really appealing concept it seems. You are given a huge selection of weapons and maps to play with, but its a very casual game in the end, lacking the depth to grab my attention for a longer period of time.

Its really satisfying to get the perfect shot in, which can be hard considering the map geommetry and since you need to take into account the force of the wind. Between the limited movement and very unreliable weapons, its more of a fun couch multiplayer game than a competitive experience. Worms is a team deathmatch game, in which each player will get their turn in commanding their worm what to do. Seems like this is the definitive Worms, out of the million of these games out there.
